Lindsay We’ve had some unusually warm weather in Northern Virginia this year. Being able to shoot outside at the beginning of December was an unexpected opportunity that I was happy to experience! Michele is no stranger to my camera – she was one of my first maternity shoots 3 years ago when little man there was in her belly. I was so excited to get to do these maternity pictures as well. We met at their Herndon home (which has been amazingly renovated by her talented hubby) and first thing we did was check out the new tree house he had built for little man. This thing rivals the Treehouse Masters TV show – sadly, I didn’t take any pictures of it. Just means I’ll have to go back.
We managed to convince little man to participate for about 10 min…then he decided he was done (as illustrated below). Never mind, it gave me more time with his beautiful momma! I vowed to Michele that I’d finish her maternity pictures before the princess arrived. If you count delivering them the day she actually delivered as “before” then I succeeded! I’m eager to share her newborn pics with you shortly!
