New Baby Sister | Morven Maternity Photographer

I’m so happy to have this growing family in front of my lens again!  I first met them at a fall mini session 2 years ago and was sooooo excited to find out that they were expecting.  It was actually a lucky thing we even got to do these photos.

I reached out to momma to congratulate her on the news and she mentioned that they wanted photos!  I was so excited to squeeze them into the schedule.  As a Northern Virginia maternity photographer, there are soooo many beautiful options for sessions.  For this family we drove up to Morven Park (which as quickly become my favorite park to shoot at!) and spent the evening walking around and having fun.

Momma told me she had three dresses for our session! I was so excited (and partly blame her for my new maternity gown obsession – which you’ll see the products of soon haha).  Her first dress was a pale peach gown with embellishments across the top of her tummy.  So beautiful!!  She looked like a goddess!

The second dress was a pale pink form fitting gown with a small train.  Swoon…she looked amazing!! I’ve never really been the maternity gown type but after seeing how amazing she looked, I had to have more.  I went out that evening and bought three for my own collection.  Yup – I now have maternity gowns in my client wardrobe!  In the coming week’s you’ll see each of them as my models try them out for me.  I cannot wait to get out and see what they look like on!
Her third down was a beautiful secret for her hubby so I’m not going to share it here.  It was perhaps my favorite of the set and when she told me about it I immediately had a vision of where I was going to with it.  The photo turned out exactly as I’d hoped it did and I’m hoping she loved it as much as I did.
