Feature Friday: Fall Family Fun | Aldie Family Photographer

You guys! I never got around to sharing these awesome photos from last fall! Going through my draft blog posts and this was sitting there and it’s too good not to share!

These beautiful people are my neighbors. We met when I put a call out for a maternity model years ago (when that little one was still a bun in the oven!) and have remained connected since.

We met up at our neighborhood lake (how lucky are we to have this lake as a backdrop!) and ended up with a gorgeous night to shoot. The light in the fall down here is so beautiful.

These little monsters were such a blast to hang out with and ham it up for the camera. They took very little prompting for those smiles or those interactions. I love it when they make my job so easy (and super fun)

Even mom and dad got in on the action and only looked at me sideways for a second when I asked him to play airplane with her arms.

Towards the end of the session we let them go hog wild with the leaves and just whoop it up. I think this is one of my favorite shots of the night. Very representative of how fun this family is!

Fall family photo season is a chaotic and exhausting time for most photographers but also so fulfilling. I love seeing old and new faces and being the one that gets the opportunity to capture those smiles. And lucky me, Loudoun county has some of the best photo spots around!
