Feature Friday: It’s TWINS! |Ashburn newborn photographer

Well, one upside to this lock down – I can catch up on blogging. These beautiful little princesses just passed a year old! Yes, I’m that far behind on blogging.

Their daddy is a co-worker of mine so I was doubly excited to heard about the girls and their arrival! We were actually in the midst of a baby boom at work and they were all girls!! (and most recently it’s been a load of boys!)

Anyways, these two princesses were so much fun and so sweet for their entire session. You could see their little personalities even at such a young age. One was super smiley and the other responded best when she was close to her sister. They visibly calmed when snuggled up together.

And because there were two of them I recruited another photographer friend to help assist. I could have easily used mom or dad but having another set of hands that knows what they’re doing make it so much easier (not that these girls were hard…again – so sweet!)

I always encourage my parents to be part of the shoot even if they don’t feel awesome. They’re only this little once and you’re almost always not thinking about getting in the pictures

The whole session was a blast. Mom and dad snuck in a few z’s while the girls, Justine and I created magic in their images. This was the last shot of the day. Dad had only one request and it was this. His beloved alma mater and his baby girls. All in all an awesome way to spend a morning!

Expecting your little one soon? I’m back open and accepting newborn clients for outdoor newborn, in your home sessions, and studio sessions. In addition to my normal sanitization protocols for newborn sessions, I’ve added a mask requirement (for me and you when not in the pics), limited people in the studio (mom and baby only), and a hepa air filter in the studio. Additionally I will check with you prior to your session on health status to ensure we’re all well before getting together. The safety of your family is important to me, especially with itty bitties at home!
